My father has been having a spot of bother dialing in to the internet recenlty. I spent abot three minutes searching on google and found an ISP that provides a LoCall number and no need to sign up. That's fine for him and it lets him read his HotMail just fine. So that's another load of my plate.

It made me think that we used to pay for this stuff about 3 years ago and to my horror some people STILL pay for dial up. I have no idea why you would want to pay for dialup now. Now you can get  broadband for free from Sky, I know it's not a good service for most people and my brother is having all sorts of trouble. But he's sticking with it as it's cheap.

So it's not what we are prepared to pay for that counts to me. It's whether it works or not.
