Wireless networks

So I'm sat here at a friends house, waiting for my wife to finish having a facial, and I thought I'd just finish off a bit of work with a coffee. Open up the laptop and "PING" up comes someone wireless network. Not encrypted, open access. Great, so I get to read my mail and change a few bits on the blog site while I wait. I can send the meeting minutes I've been working on while I'm waiting. This is brilliant.

I guess the poor folks who have this WAN setup in their house probably have limited bandwith per month too.

It's quite sad that they are leaving their network open and they then have all the bandwidth all sucked up by folks just freeloading of them. Never mind, I guess they won't even know I've been using their connection.
